Alloy E4330 MOD VAR is a double melted, extremely clean steel that demonstrates greater usable strength, superior transverse properties, higher fatigue strength, improved notch toughness and improved resistance to cracking. This alloy has good ductility and impact strength and the non-metallic properties make it ideal for applications needing magnetic particle inspection. These properties make Alloy 4330 an excellent material for demanding aerospace applications similar to 4340 and 300M like landing gear, shafts, gears, and similar parts.
